Four Apps that Will Save Your Next Event

We have been in the business for a pretty long time. Back before Wild Cherry Events existed, Carolyn (the CEO) was organising national conferences and parties for outside businesses. Many years later, she is still organising events under her own name! Back when she started, apps weren’t a popular resource. Nowadays, apps are taking over the world and helping organise many lives! We have created a list of apps that make the event process so much easier! Read the list below and tell us which one is your favourite.

1. Manage My Wedding 👰

This app is great to use in conjunction with an event planner. The app is free to download and allows you to put the date that your significant other and yourself will be tying the knot. Once you put the date in, it will create a countdown and give you a comprehensive list of what needs to be completed before that date. Not only that, but the manage my wedding app provides a comprehensive list of what you will need for your bachelor/ette parties, engagement parties, bridal showers and more! 2. Houseparty ✋

The Houseparty app allows you and your friends to have a virtual party! As adults, it can be hard to organise a time when all of your friends can meet up. If you live in a big city, travelling can take hours and finding middle ground can be difficult. Not only that, but if a friend moves out of town, staying in contact is a lot of effort! The Houseparty app allows you and your friends to call each other all at once. You can play games, use face filters, and connect with loved ones! 3. Heads Up! 🙄

Heads Up! is similar to a game of charades. The person guessing holds the phone to their head, everyone else has to act out the name, phrase, accent or animal on the phone. Once the person guesses, they nod their head and the app will move to a new phrase! The app has a variety of awesome categories such as superstars, act it out, animals, blockbuster movies, accents and more! If you run out of decks, you can purchase more on the app! If that wasn’t enough, whilst you are playing the app automatically records your friends acting out in front of you! This means that you can watch the fun back later. 4. Days- Event Countdown 📅

We all want to get excited for our special moments! The Days event countdown can help with that. Similar to any other event countdown, the Days countdown allows you to count down to your event by the second. You can countdown once off events or have a recurring countdown for every year, month or week. The app also allows you to put a photo behind your countdown. This means that when you look at the countdown you can be reminded of the fun that is coming! Not only that, but you can have multiple countdowns running at once.
