Three Tips for the Perfect Mother’s Day
It is that time of year where we get to celebrate our mothers and all that they do. Mother’s Day is a time to show your mum that you love her and appreciate her. This Mother’s Day is extra special because we can finally go and see our family and celebrate with them! That is why we have created this simple list of Mother’s Day tips!
- A Mother’s Day Gift 🎁
It wouldn’t be Mother’s Day if you didn’t give your mum a present! This year Wild Cherry Event have done Mother’s Day hampers that can be delivered straight to your loved one’s door. However, since we are allowed to visit our family, you could also pick one up and deliver it yourself! If you would like something more personal, why not try to create a handmade card or painting. You could also buy your mum her favourite chocolates or flowers. A gift is the best way to show your mum love!
- Acts of Service 😇
Maybe your mother prefers acts of service to gifts? That is great! Why not offer to do something for her? Get her groceries, clean her house, or take her out for a picnic. Your mum will really appreciate the effort that you put into her! Even with social distancing, you can still organise a skype call, hire someone to help with her chores or even give her a good old fashion homemade coupon for once everything is over! Your mum will probably want to cash in the one free hug once social distancing ends!
- A Handwritten Letter 💌
Everyone loves receiving a personalised note! Why not give one to your mum? Often cards have cheesy writing that isn’t personalised and special. It might be a nice change for your mum to receive a long letter detailing the reasons why you appreciate her! Instead of just “dear mum,” “from me,” you should write something meaningful. Try telling her why you appreciate her, list things that you should do together when quarantine is over, or even retell font memories!
We hope that you enjoyed this short list of tips for Mother’s Day! Remember to have a fun weekend appreciating your mum or caregiver.
