Sometimes we all need to take a break. Trying to balance friends, family, education and work can get hectic and tiring! If you have ever been too an Australian bush dance, you will know exactly what I am talking about. Dances like Strip the Willow are popular in Australian and European culture. Pairing bush music with classic Australian artists like Keith Urban will set the tone of the party. You want music that will encourage guests to let go and have a good time!

3. Beer…. Lots of beer 🍺

Australians are famous for their drinking appetites. If you are having a backyard bash, you MUST have Australia’s favourite beverage. If you are like me and don’t enjoy beer, you might want to offer juices, water, and other alcoholic drinks. However, beer is a must!

4. BBQ 🥩

Any Australian knows that we don’t “throw a shrimp on the barbie.” We throw a prawn. And that is exactly what you should be doing! Have salads, steak, sausages, and bread. It is safe to say that are exploring our bogan sides with this party theme. Nonetheless, make sure you have a section of the BBQ where vegetarians, vegans, and other dietary needs guests can cook their food.

5. Bins 😬

This essential is often forgotten at parties. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t essential! This becomes even more important when you are serving beer cans to guests. Furthermore, since a backyard bash has a serve-yourself approach, guests need somewhere to put empty cans, paper plates, and leftovers. Make sure to have a recycling bin as well as a waste bin! Imagine how much money you could make from the cans.
